The director takes the viewers to the underground hell of the Bolivian mine. The film is a shocking portrait of poverty and exploitation of all the Potosí citizens. Already at an early age, children are taught about the cherished mountain, in which they are soon expected to start working. Hours of backbreaking toil, almost without any protection, spent on looking for desired silver often end in permanent disability or even death. The lethal image of the mountain doesn't seem to bother wealthy tourists who explore its interior and post reels on social media, which would be impossible to do if it weren't for the silver mined there.
