Piotr Grodecki, an investigative journalist working for the influential daily Kurier, follows a lead on a major financial scandal. It turns out he’s personally involved in this case. With the help of Weronika, an agent with the Central Investigation Bureau, Piotr discovers there’s more to the story, which started during the political transformation of the early 1990s. Many people of the generation that leaped into adulthood back then made quick, spectacular careers and earned big money, not always legally. Now it’s time they paid for their past choices and decisions.
